ii

say “U’s”

Mint ii within your allowance. Returns are voluntary, and your public record shows every one.

A rules-based token planned for members of Credail. The rules are fixed and every record is public.

In development, not available. ii has no guaranteed dollar value, no redemption promise and no guaranteed buyer. Minting creates no debt; returns are voluntary.

How it works

Four steps, one public record

  1. Unlock

Eligible Credail members unlock a first allowance of 25,000 ii, set by a starting ii Score of 25.

  2. Mint

Mint any amount within your allowance, whenever you choose. Nothing is minted automatically.

  3. Return

Each mint is split into four equal, voluntary returns, due 8, 16, 24 and 32 days after you mint.

  4. Record

Every return made — and every return not made — stays on your public record and sets your ii Score.

The ii Score

Your allowance is set by your ii Score

  • 0–100 The ii Score starts at 25 and is separate from your Credail score.
  • × 1,000 Your allowance is your ii Score × 1,000 ii, up to 100,000 ii.
  • public Returns made on schedule build the score over time; returns not made lower it.

How the score rule works

With every return made on schedule, a member's score is designed to reach 50 after the first year and 100 after ten years.

ii Score over ten years with every return made on schedule: 25 at the start, 50 after year one, then rising evenly to 100 after year ten. 10050250 1510 yrs ii Score

Return points

How each return moves your ii Score

Your ii Score starts at 25. Each mint is split into four returns, due 8, 16, 24 and 32 days after you mint. These are the planned rules and may change before launch.

  1. Stage 1

    First 12 returns

+2.08 for each return made on time

Make all 12 and your score reaches 50. Miss up to 4 and you keep the points you earned. Miss 5 or more, and the score instead drops by 2.08 for each missed return.

  2. Stage 2

    Next 48 returns

    −0.52 for each missed return

Returns made on time keep your score where it is. Missed returns lower it.

  3. Stage 3

    Every year after

    up to +5.56 each year

Your score rises each year in proportion to the returns you made on time that year, until it reaches 100.

  4. Stage 4

    At 100

up to 10 per year, last 10 years

Your score becomes a rolling ten-year record. Each year counts for up to 10 points by its share of on-time returns, and each new year replaces the oldest.

Example: score after the first 12 returns

147.9247,916 ii
441.6741,666 ii
514.5814,583 ii
120.000 ii

Exact values are kept to eight decimal places (for example, 2.08333333 = 25 ÷ 12) and shown rounded here. Allowances are rounded down. A missed return lowers your score; it never takes away ii you already hold.

Planned principles

Designed to be fair, open and fixed

No network fees

No network fees are planned for minting, returning or transfers. Payment providers may charge their own fees on marketplace sales.

Independent operators

The ii network is planned to be run by independent operators, not by Credail alone.

Rules in public code

The rules will be published as public code before launch and are designed to be fixed once live.

Public, private where it matters

Mints, returns and transfers are planned to be recorded publicly. Identity documents never go on the network.

Your keys

The plan is for you to hold your own keys, with an encrypted backup in your own Google Drive or iCloud.

Marketplace

A marketplace where members set their own prices is planned. It is subject to legal and regulatory review and is not available.

Not live yet

Public records

Exchange, mint and return records and a link to the public explorer will appear here when the network is live.

Questions

The rules, plainly

These describe the planned rules, which may change before launch.

What is ii?

ii (say “U’s”) is a rules-based token in development for members of Credail. Members will be able to mint ii within an allowance set by their ii Score, make voluntary returns, and build a public record.

Is ii a loan?

No. Minting ii creates no debt and no obligation to repay, and there is no interest. Returns are voluntary; they affect your ii Score and your future allowance.

Does ii have a dollar value?

ii has no guaranteed dollar value. No one promises to redeem ii, buy it, or exchange it for money, and there may be no buyer at any price.

Who will be able to mint?

Eligible Credail members who pass the planned checks, including a verified phone number and device checks.

What happens if a return is not made?

It stays on your public record and lowers your ii Score, which lowers your future allowance. Under the planned rules, nothing you already hold is taken away.

Why is the score so precise?

Scores are designed to be calculated exactly and kept to eight decimal places, so anyone can check every result once the rules are public. They are shown rounded.

Is there a sale, presale or airdrop?

No. There is no ii sale, presale or airdrop, and we will never ask for your keys or recovery phrase.

When will ii launch?

There is no launch date yet. This page will be updated.
